"Our little boy sleeps through and can now settle himself back to sleep if he stirs through the night!
My little boy has been EBF since birth and he is now 22 months old.
He has always co slept with me and fed through the night and it was getting to the point where it was becoming more tiresome having him latch 3-4 times during the night, knowing that it was purely for comfort and help to get back to sleep.
We’ve previously tried to get him to sleep in his cot but after 2-3 hours of sleep he would wake up and I would just bring him back to bed with me!
I found out Lorna had become a holistic sleep coach so reached out to her for some advice as I knew that she had BF her little girl also, so could relate to what I was going through.
I had a call with Lorna and she talked everything through with me, advising that night weaning will be tough but as long as we persevered it would become easier! She was very comforting to talk to and there was no judgment at all! Just having the call with Lorna encouraged me to take action so my partner and I set a date to start and it has now been 9 nights without BF through the night! 5 nights of that our little boy has slept through and can now settle himself back to sleep if he stirs through the night! If I have brought him into bed with me it’s been around 5am and he can just go back to sleep without BF!
This is such an amazing achievement for us and even though it’s sad to no longer be co sleeping, it’s great to know that we all get a much better nights sleep!

I was first in contact with Lorna when we started struggling more with sleep. Our little girl was 8 months old, and had gone from waking 2-3 times overnight to 6 times.
I felt at breaking point and Lorna was so refreshing and positive to talk to, having been in our situation herself I really felt listened to.
Lorna took a full history making sure she knew our daily routines and followed up with specific questions.

Lorna is well known to me as I first met her when she attended the antenatal classes that I teach during her first pregnancy. We kept in touch as and I was so happy to hear that Lorna had qualified as a holistic sleep consultant as this type of support was something we were really lacking in Jersey.
Lorna and I got chatting about Flora’s sleep during one of my baby massage classes and she was kind enough to offer us some gentle support with Flora’s sleep when Flora was about 18 months old. I wanted it to be clear from the start that I never wanted to leave Flora to cry and my approach to sleep has always been gentle and baby-led, so I was happy that Lorna’s philosophy aligned with this.
We provided Lorna with a 3 day sleep diary and from this we were able to make small but noticeable changes to Flora’s sleep habits. The two most significant ones were reducing her daytime naps and reducing the amount of television time in the evening - both which sound really simple but when you’re exhausted and overwhelmed sometimes you don’t realise that the small things can make a big difference!

"Thanks to Lorna's tips my child slept through 12 hours, for the first time ever"
I liked that Lorna was a mum herself, who had experienced sleep challenges. I knew that she would understand the nuances each family/ child would present. Lorna seemed holistic in her approach from the info I had read and it was important to me that there was no shaming/ negativity about wanting to settle baby.
I purchased the basic sleep chat package because our sleep Situation wasn’t too bad but I felt like I needed to just talk through what was playing out. I had an idea about what I could be doing and it was great to have Lorna’s perspective, simple small changes that could be implemented and her support to affirm all my feelings around how to gently aim to reduce night feeds.
